Rob joined ViroNovative B.V. as non-executive Board member at the founding of the company, in 2000, and stepped in as Senior Vice President Legal as of March 2014. With a background as legal counsel with Royal Nedlloyd Group, the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Erasmus university Medical Center Rotterdam, as well as several management and advisory functions within the Erasmus University and Erasmus MC (also within the Technology Transfer Office of the Erasmus MC) Rob has acquired extensive experience drafting, negotiating and managing contracts in the biotechnology sector. Rob majored in private and corporate law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Since 2020 Rob has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of the company.
